From Click to Conversation: Automating Lead Capture
Every visitor counts — but most websites lose potential leads the moment they leave. With Levi, you can automatically capture every click, message, or form submission and turn it into a real conversation.
This playbook walks you through setting up an end-to-end Lead Capture System that ensures no lead is ever left uncontacted.
💡 What You’ll Learn
By following this workflow, you’ll learn how to:
Connect Levi to your website forms or chat widget
Automatically start conversations with new visitors
Qualify leads before they hit your inbox
Track every new contact inside your Levi dashboard
⚙️ Step 1 — Choose Your Capture Point
Levi can collect leads from multiple entry points. Decide where visitors will first engage with your assistant:
Channel | Description | Best For |
|---|---|---|
Chat Widget | Real-time chat embedded on your website | Local businesses and service providers |
Contact Form | Levi responds instantly to form submissions | Agencies and B2B companies |
Landing Page CTA | Levi launches after a button click | Campaigns and special offers |
Tip: You can enable multiple entry points — Levi will automatically merge duplicate leads across sources.
🔗 Step 2 — Connect Levi to Your Website Form
Open your Levi dashboard → Integrations → Web Capture.
Choose Form Connection.
Copy the generated Webhook URL.
Paste it into your site’s form handler or automation platform (Webflow, Framer, Zapier, Make, etc.).
Map your form fields (Name, Email, Phone, Message) to Levi’s contact properties.
✅ Once connected, every submission instantly creates a new lead inside Levi.

💬 Step 3 — Add Levi Chat to Your Website
Prefer live engagement? Install Levi’s smart chat widget.
In Integrations → Chat Widget, copy the provided script tag.
Paste it into your site’s
<head>section.Customize Levi’s greeting (e.g., “Hey there! Can I help you book a session?”) and widget color.
Enable Instant Qualification Mode — Levi will ask visitors for contact info or service interest right away.
💡 Pro Tip: Pair the chat widget with exit intent triggers — Levi pops up when users move to close the tab.
🧠 Step 4 — Qualify and Route Leads Automatically
Levi can filter and tag leads as soon as they enter your system.
Go to Automations → Lead Qualification.
Choose or create a rule, such as:
If budget > $500, tag as High Priority
If service = hair styling, assign to Team B
If location = outside delivery zone, tag as Inactive
Toggle Auto-Assign to Calendar to let Levi instantly schedule high-priority leads.
Example automation table:
Rule | Condition | Action |
|---|---|---|
Budget over $500 | Lead form includes amount > 500 | Tag as High Priority |
Service includes “consultation” | Keyword match | Route to Consultant Calendar |
Location outside zone | ZIP code not in list | Add to Cold Leads Sequence |
🧾 Step 5 — Track and Review Every New Lead
You can monitor captured leads under Analytics → Conversations → Captured Leads.
Metric | Description |
|---|---|
Total Captured Leads | All incoming contacts Levi created |
Response Rate | % of leads who replied to Levi’s first message |
Qualification Rate | % of leads that passed your rules |
Average Time to Response | How fast Levi replied to a new inquiry |
Use these metrics weekly to optimize your chat prompts and form copy.
🚀 Step 6 — Test the Full Flow
Visit your website and submit your own form.
Check if Levi greets you automatically.
Confirm the lead appears inside Contacts → Recent Leads.
Test a few qualification scenarios to ensure routing rules work correctly.
🎉 If everything looks good — your site now converts every click into a conversation.
