GA4 Essentials for Levi Funnels
Data tells the story — and with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), you can see exactly how visitors move through your Levi funnels.
This guide shows you how to connect GA4, track conversions, and visualize every step of your membership or booking journey.
🎯 Why Use GA4 with Levi
GA4 helps you understand what’s actually driving growth:
Which pages or ads lead to conversions
Where visitors drop off before booking
How long it takes users to convert
Which audiences engage most with Levi’s chat or forms
By connecting GA4, you gain full visibility — from first click to confirmed membership.
⚙️ Step 1 — Connect GA4 to Levi
Open Integrations → Analytics in your Levi dashboard.
Select Google Analytics 4 → Connect.
Log in with your Google account and choose your property.
Copy your Measurement ID (format:
G-XXXXXXX) from GA4 and paste it into Levi.Save and verify the connection.
✅ Levi will automatically start sending key funnel events to GA4.
📦 Step 2 — Understand Default Events
Levi sends a rich set of events to GA4 right out of the box.
Levi Event | GA4 Event Name | Description |

💡 Tip: You can see all events under Configure → Events in GA4.
🧩 Step 3 — Set Up Custom Conversions
GA4 allows you to define custom conversion goals that align with your business objectives.
In your GA4 dashboard, go to Admin → Conversions → New Conversion Event.
Add the Levi event name (for example,
book_appointment).Click Save and GA4 will start tracking it as a key conversion.
Recommended conversions:
Funnel Stage | Levi Event | Conversion Name |
|---|---|---|
Lead Capture |
| Lead Captured |
Booking |
| Appointment Booked |
Upsell |
| Plan Upgrade |
📊 Step 4 — Build Your Memby Funnel Report
In GA4, open Explore → Funnel Exploration.
Add the following sequence of steps:
Session Start
generate_lead
book_appointment
upgrade_plan
Segment by Source / Medium to see which channels perform best.
Save this view as Memby Funnel Report.
✅ You’ll now have a live visualization of how users move through your Levi funnel.
🧠 Step 5 — Add Custom Dimensions (Optional)
You can send additional Levi data as custom dimensions for deeper insights.
Dimension | Description | Example Value |
|---|---|---|
lead_source | Origin of traffic | google_ads |
service_type | Selected product/service | yoga_class |
assistant_name | Levi instance name | Levi_Fitness |
To set this up:
In GA4, go to Admin → Custom Definitions → Custom Dimensions.
Add a new dimension and match it to Levi’s event parameter.
Wait for GA4 to start collecting data (can take up to 24 hours).
📈 Step 6 — Validate Events in Real-Time
To confirm everything’s working:
Open GA4 → Reports → Real-Time.
Interact with your Levi assistant or form.
Look for the events (e.g.,
generate_lead,book_appointment) appearing live.
💬 If nothing shows, double-check that your Measurement ID is correct and that cookies are enabled on your site.
